I've got the core charger. Seems fine for lipos and can charge up to 5 amps. Comes with a shed load of leads, most of which are useless and I had to buy a new one. One thing I don't like about it is how it charges NIMH, gets them way to hot, but won't be doing that much anymore so suppose it doesn't matter.

I have been using the Orion Clubman LIPO for month now,
i like it, had no problems.

Especially the single balancer ports for 2s and 3s make my desk
clean.

Since now i used 7,4V yeah racing 3200, LRP 5300 hardcase and
my VCS tranmitter pack with 11.1V 3000mah.

I payed 45€, there is no better buy, i think.

Your question is a bit irrelevant because you never charge completely a Lipo. It would damage it to charge it from 0 to 5300mAh.

Most cheap chargers are equal : they do 5 Amps charge rate

And it is OK for Lipo because charging a Lipo any faster would significantly reduce its life

Not that I have noticed, does make a bit of noise when the fan cuts in but certainly wouldn't describe it as really noisey.

4.6 amps for the 4600s and 3.7 amps for the 3700s. the nimh programme just isn't that great, no other charger I have ever used has got them so hot. It seem to monitor the resting charge of the pack and hence I think misses the true peak.

As any other cheap chinese charger, it can do 5A(in fact 6!). (It's the discharge that's 1A)
Most chargers are re-branded chinese products. There are really fine for Lipo.

So you'll need ~20 minutes(~1700mAh) to fill it after each 5min run.
