I wouldnt risk it just buy some new ones most of the power will come from the rear end the wishbones have alot to offer

Even though I trust what vinny has to say here is my answer.....

You need to change the tower too to keep the shock wheel rates the same

Yup, the 2'ed bones have no kink in them, so the tower had to change to get the same shock angles.

Most of our Stocking Dealers still have the original control arms, #3010.

The Squared arms (#3012) do fit the original car, and posters above are correct, the straight arms require the Squared tower, #3313. The Squared tower will bolt straight on to your original car.

I have read on another place the reason for change to the straight A-arms were interchangeability between LH and RH side.
Is there any other concern?

I am thinking the way vice versa to use the former Arms + shocktowers
from the '08 X-6 on my Squared cause this parts had some significant price drop after shipping of the new car.

The primary reason we made the new arms is that the mold for the old ones is shot. The last run of arms from the original tool is full of flashing and the parts are not up to our current quality standards. Further, there were material flow issues with the original tool. The new tool makes a far superior product.

The Squared arm was designed by Paul. Paul designed a better arm that looks better and has better flow in the tool. All at once! And it's reversable too. Ace!

You can also see Paul's design work in the Squared chassis, which has all the same advantages: Looks better, molds better in the tool, easier to build and work on, just as strong or stonger.
