you'll need some extra spares.

I went for the 8.5 for the b4 which should be nice and sensible with lipo

Will do expecting it to be rather rapid, may test it in the TC5 aswell if I find an open space large enough. Now I just need a suitable speedo for it.

I took the sintered rotor out of my 8.5 today and put it in to my 6.5, worked without issue... But, as someone said to me after I had tried it, make sure that you're careful when removing the rotor as the magnets are very strong and it's easy to scratch the surface on the casing as you pull it out...

err, yes, 5.5 or 6.5 depending on track. 3.5 in off road is insane! sell it to a touring car racer and get a 6.5!

no worries. most reasonable level racers run a 5.5 or 6.5. If you are more of a beginner level then the 8.5 is a really good choice.

no mate,i've changed the order at modelsport from a 3.5 to 8.5,it's probably going in a x10 or 501,as you've probably guessed brushless and lipos are a bit new to me, i just seen the 3.5 and got a bit carried away.
