So, finally get everything together and wired up on my new CatSX and thought I'd take her for a spin in the garden...
Having not had an RC car for a lot of years it was bound to end in disaster I suppose.... Managed to break one of the front wishbones clean in half after contact with a wall. ![]() Looks like my servo is knackered too, is servo failure pretty common after an impact as there is no servo saver ? |

Depends on the quality of the servo, but if you've hit a brick wall i don't think you can be too hard on the cat for breaking

Yeah, it's all about quality if you have no servo saver. Ive never run a saver in my xx4 and the servo is spot on. Saying that ill probably go straight out and break it now.

Yea, can't complain on the wishbone breakage at all really...need to get some medium wishbones in stock ready for next time
![]() Servo is a HiTec - still moves, but sounds like something internally is stripped somewhere as it doesn't always return to neutral. |

Probably the bottom gear, they are normally plastic against metal, well they were in older models, ive not opened one up for ages.
