Kit comes with a green rear belt and both green & blue front belts. I'd run the kit as it come to start with, and then as and when change the blue front to a green. Personally I run green all round now.

Most important thing is to set the slipper right. Don't just lock it up like some people tend to!!! You want about 2 foot of slip, from the slipper. Before setting the slipper also make sure the diff(s) are set with no slip too.

If you're unsure ask someone to have a look, or you'll only strip/snap the belts.

Does this question mean you've actually decided on a 4WD at last??

I didnt brake a single belt all last year in my xx4, slipper setting is essential to stop them snapping.
I ran green all round.

Totally agree with Brian. It was only ever needed back in the day when we ran 2400mAh cells and struggled for duration.

Just install a Sphere, x11 5.5t and some VTEC 4200's in her and enjoy

Remember Ash. It's not the colour we are on the outside, it's whats on the inside that counts.

the blue front belt comes with the kit. Run the green belt instead. The blue belt is more flexible and prone to snapping.
