I will continue to run my T2 008 this year so thats just got routine running costs with it but I've bought a pred x11 08 for off road this year, I think that alone has cost me £750 inc spares. I've also just upgraded one of my lipos and I will change my other one asap. Other than that I think I'm sorted for the season now but them tekin RS pro speedos look good....

Your poll finishes at £1500!

My lad runs 1/8 Rallycross, 1/10 Touring Cars and we are now on the lookout for a 1/10 buggy .......

I've got £1500 worth of tyres

it is some ridiculous amount throughout the year. You can spend £1000 on tyres alone if your racing every weekend

I reckon around £300 per national based on doing 2wd and 4wd, including accomodation in a B&B.

Plus expenses to get the season going, after all two new brushless motors and and 4 packs of LIPO's will cost around £540 for competition level equipment.

Throughout a National season I always regard £25.00 every time the car goes on the track to be a reasonable indication of overall cost.

Col, I did Nats last year and only bought 2 sets of tyres for 2wd and 2 for 4wd, so it didn't cost that much.
I know I'm not going to be mega, so i didn't hold my hope too high and only spent what I thought I'd need. So i just went along for the experience and didn't take it too seriously.

I think people do think that you need to buy 2/3 new sets every meeting at nats, but you don't, and you can do nats on a budget.
