I got one of the "classic" one's as part of my Eon energy plan.

Makes you think about leaving that light on (as well as scaring the poo out of you when the kettle, microwave, washing machine and iron are all on at the same time ).

It has made me change the way I do things in that I now turn the kitchen light off when I'm not in there and things like that but not much else really as I never leave the TV on standby etc.

Dam it, I best not get one, as these energy efficient lights don't like being switched on and off again, and until they have warmed up, are a bit dull...

Although I think this is a good product, how much are they?

One of my work mates was going to install a key card type on/off switch for his house, similar to hotel key card swipes as his daughter used to leave all of the lights on when she went out. Im sure he will have one of those bad boys.
For me, i hate it when people talk of energy consumption(in a selfish kind of way) as i install lighting for my livelyhood. Those energy efficient lamps are crap. So expensive to buy aswell.
