Default Schumacher Menace 21

Hi guys, i'm new to the sport and am looking for a club to join.

I'm based in Walkden Manchester.

I've purchased the above recently and am struggling a little to get it started.
Everything seems to work, the engine seems to turn over however once you remove the drill it stops so obviously it isnt catching.

The glow plug is working ok, checked it, the transmitter and receiver are clearly working. The carburettor is slightly open about 2mm, and the engine is primed.

I'm using a standard drill which is rotating to the right (as you hold the drill). Anyone got any ideas or is it just a case of send the car back cos its buggered??

Cheers Tony

is the flywheel tight and are you sure the drill is turning the right way and is fast enough when turning the engine over?

try heating the engine head up for 2 or 3 minutes with a hair dryer then try again
