Depends if you want one with a build in ac power supply, or want to have a seperate power supply/charger.

If you just want everything in 1 unit and are only charging 2s lips then the bantam b6 is very good as it balance charges very accurately. If you want to charge more than 2 cells at full charge rate its internal power supply (50w) can't go at full pace and you need to look at seperate charge+power supply.

p.s. there are various chinese rip offs of this charger about for half the money. unfortunately not only did they rip off the motherboard they downgraded component quality so that they don't balance well and can potentially overcharge cells. There is a reason the bantam costs 100 quid and the rip offs a fair bit less.

if your cost concious the trakpower pit pro is a good entry charger and pretty much fool proof, add thier balancer and you got all you will need.

the bc6 as has been said above
im just testing the new bc8 dx which is the mother of all chargers

http://www.flighttech.co.uk/index.as...ntam/index.asp

any bantam based charger is top (inc the pitpro ) and have top rate back up from uk distributor Trakpower

I did a lot of looking and nothing seems to be >50 watt with a built in power supply. This is fine if you are only charging two cell lipos at 1C (and my trackpowers say they can go 2C but I don't think many do that).

If you go with a separate power supply there are plenty of options, but you are going to be in for 200 quid or so I would imagine.

Col you pedantic old women, surely you must know that they don't teach punctuation in school these days. People learn how to write by texting; where comas and full stops are an old fashioned concept.

+1 on the Bantam BC6 - The dual power lets you use it anywhere.

I would have a look at the RC Fusion range, I've got the Paladin 120 Pro, it comes with balancer, is capable of 180W charging, and can charge 6 2S Lipos at once with the appropriate leads and things . It retails for about £120, but I've seen them for £109.99, though you do need a power supply.

However they also do something called an Elysium LX60B - can do 6S lipo, and has a built in power supply - all for about £80. Though it only has a 50W maximum charge...
