Don't understand...Is the B-Max a newer platform? Is the WE based on an older platform that is outdated? Is there a WE version of the B-Max?

The Bmax is a totally new design , consisting of moulded plastic and comes with either a champ pack with alloy shocks an other hardware . Or standard with plastic shockers an so on.
The yokomo bx is an earlier model then they brought out a factory version on the same platform , then came the bx worlds edition with a redesigned platform but resembling the bx .

B-Max is the newer car, but I don't think the Bx has been discontinued? I'm also not sure whether all team drivers abroad use the Bmax, I think they were still using the Bx worlds at some meetings? Yokomo were saying they'd sit side by side!?

In the Uk though, I think the team drivers are using the Bmax, and it is a popular car as there are plenty about!

For myself, I've found the Bmax smoother and great over jumps, but my own experiences would also say the Bx has more traction!

I've heard that the "conversion kit" ( Bx => Bx WE ) has been discontinued...but not the car.

My last email from them, the 5th of february, they have the MR4BX Kit in stock but at my first email ( the 4th ) they have mixed the references of the conversion kit and the kit WE...the conversion kit is discontinued ( arrgh ! )

Perhaps they have made the same mistake with you?

They did get back to me and they said that they no longer carry it but they have some spares/option parts left.... i specified that it was the complete car and not the conversion again just to make sure....

I have also contacted eseller.ch and they asked me if they should put one on order for me... I am waiting for them to confirm that they are still avail and not just on indefinite back order.

as an aside, both rc champ and eseller.ch are very quick to respond and seem easy to deal with....
