I have for sale an Ayk Bobcat .
The car is in full working ready to run condition just install a battery and your off . It is fitted with a FlySky 2.4G Radio system (including a basic transmitter) ,a 27 turn brushed motor and a period ESC I'm not sure of the brand of the ESC its marked FET NAE800B and an unknown but working period servo, I did try a modern servo but it made the ESC twitch when I steered , odd but with the old servo it works perfectly . The front and rear axles are ball raced but the transmission is still on bushings , the gears are all in near pristine condition as is the diff , i replaced the diff as the original had a chipped gear .The spur gear cover has been cracked and repaired probably 30+ years ago but you have to look to see it and its still perfectly functional .The tyres are period with no cracks ,splits or flat spots but the rubber has hardened so fine for the shelf but not to run on , one front wheel rim has a chip out of it but is still serviceable , Kyosho Scorpion RE RE wheels are a direct fit if you want to run it with modern rubber . All three shocks are in good condition and leak free ! The body is a TBG reproduction with a near box art paint job and reproduction stickers , I'm also including a Corvette body that came to me with the car , its got original Ayk stickers on it so was probably fitted by the original owner 30+ years ago . All the metalwork has been cleaned and polished although there are still some minor scratches on the underside. The front uprights have been replaced with custom made ones to much tighter tolerances in order to reduce slop in the suspension/steering . I've try'd to be as honest as possible and the two faults are minor ,overall the car is in very good condition . Any questions welcome .
