Default Tom Tom Advice

Got a tom tom 920T and it about 12 months old, going to upgrade the maps on it but unsure roughly how much this will cost and what is the best upgrade for it. Only use it in the UK for nationals, regionals etc

Any advice of someone who has done this would be greatly appreciated

Good site here: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/
or http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/module...viewforum&f=93

Not sure re map upgrades, we run a 720 (not t) maps ok, we update speed cameras via above.

First thing to do is backup to PC, connect usb, open tomtom, drag big folder onto pc somewhere (takes a while). if it goes bellyup sometime you can copy it back and start again.

Jamie, just plug it in to your computer with the USB cable and it should automatically open the Tom Tom home software - then the costs and whats available for what you have will all be shown, its very easy.

Personally I never update the maps unless its free.
