which 2wd 1/10th buggy????

hi guys i know this has been asked many times before but here goes anyway!

im looking at getting into 1/10th 2wd i currently race 1/8th rallyx so im completely in the dark with this class,

what buggy should i be looking to get?thinking about a b4 but tbh thats the only one i have looked at and heard of lol!

must be: cheap (2nd hand)-strong-easy to drive(like my mp9) and parts available easily!"

also what batteries-speedo/motor should do me? looking to go lipo and brushless but on a budget as 1/8th comes 1st when the funds come into it lol

Not sure about all the other stuff but as for the car i'd reccomend the Losi XXX-CR. You could probably get one second hand for around £100, and spares are readily available. Good all round car i'd say!

here we go again another biased thread on which car is best... you'll porbably find the b4 is the most popular car and easiest to run but tbh you need to just buy a car get it going and get used to driving it then try other people cars to see which suits your driving style, any lipo will do you aslong as it has 3200 capacity or more and a 7.5t brushless motor and speedo most well known reliable brands like lrp,nosram,novak, speed passion etc are good

cool thanks for that! tbh i can get round a track done 8th rallyx for 4yrs and done a little t/c just want something thats quite cheap to run and half reliable lol as its gonna be 2nd to the dirty stuff lol

so on the electrics anything that is a named brand and around 7.5- 10.5 motor?

Don't forget the X-Factory X6^2 and the Kyosho RB5...

Easiest for spares is B4 by far tho, and popularity so setups and spares are easy to get hold of. Easy to convert to X6 should you want to as well.

I'll add my bit for a B4 too (even though I run a XXX-CR ).

More people run the B4 so setup advice and spares will be readily available trackside. Every model shop I know of stocks B4 parts too.

The other up to a B4 is that if you do decide you want something else, it can be taken "to the next level" by converting it to an X6.

Ultimately though, get your mitts on as many peoples cars as you can and give them a go and then buy what you feel is the best for you.
