S4 washers

ok, need a bit of help

stripped and rebuilt the complete front and rear of my s4 today. but on finishing it im left with 2 washer's left over. havent got a clue were they came from but i know there off the S4....

there not off the steering knuckles

anyone any idea ??

washers from under the ball stud for the camber links?

How big and what did you strip off?

are they off the top of the shock tower were the shock is

Are they the ones under the rear top deck and on top of the diff case..

ooo could well be...at the moment ive got the rear top deck that has 3 screws into the diff case. 1 has the alloy space the other 2 just have the top deck touching the diff case, should there be a washer with each screw then?

Griff just normal size washer's like what you put on ball studs to raise them..

tinner's no shock mountings are ok

On mine I only have the one alloy spacer on the front and rear gearbox, no other washers as it then sits flush with the top of the gear case.

The only other thing I can think of is to shim the wishbones for wheel base, or put under the anit squat blocks?

mmm think thats more likely as having a look at the topdeck don't think it need them...

will check the wheelbase and anti squat

thats where i was going to guess jon. No washers on gearbox tops apart from one spacer.
What did you strip off?

complete front and rear end down to bare chassis, only thing's i didnt take off was slipper assembly/electrics

What about the ball stud on the steering knuckle, sometimes had 2mm of washers under there.

THANKS JC but already discounted those, there still on the car

think they must be the anti squat or wheel base as all the other washer's are anodised and these are silver...
