Default IMPORTANT: York Regional Venue

The York Regional (21st Jan) will be held at Lowfields School.

The map below shows the access route in red, this route will be used on the day. Please note this is a different access route to the one used on Saturday nights.

The school postcode is YO24 3DD

The usual oval racing will take place on Saturday and the track will be built following this.

Going to be a bit of a squeeze, or can we pit somewhere other than in the hall?

I'm sure I heard Derek say we had more room to pit in Dan.

Hi Mark, Sorry I just found it funny, we just been through all this with the SRCC meeting.

For the York Saturday nights, there is one socket in the corner where we all plug in to, use our 4 ways and Id guess is a Health+Safety officers nightmare, but we never have any issues or power failures.

But, if we are not going to pit in that hall, we need Tom to confirm, and im sure he'll be checking since he prefers 240v too.

The classrooms will be opened for pitting, I would assume these will have sockets in but I will confirm on Saturday night.

Any 12v's must be in leak proof containers.

Are we allowed to write suff on the blackboards in the classrooms?

Will it be like pitting in Lilliput, Telford style?

Go here:

http://maps.google.com/

Click get directions, type in your postcode, going to YO24 3DD.

Get the directions, adjust the last bit so that you go down the different access as show in the first picture.

Print off/Write down/Remember and follow on Sunday

Simple!

Any stuff about the track can go in the track thread found here:

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1967

Daz, you can pit in the girls shower if you like but there won't be any girls there and someone might accidently turn them on

Stu, I'm sure if we said don't write on the black boards it wouldn't stop you, and I would expect they use white boards these days, black boards are old technology
