Guess what i found in my gearbox??

Was taking my DTM apart to give it a good 'service' and was amazed when i found these:





They're not even that well made - look at the saw marks on the right one!

were they in place of the bearings???

Yep! i wondered why it sounded so rough, not that a ran it, i was just spinning the wheels.

I bought a 2nd hand national years ago to update my 95 pro slightly and use for spares, I don't think that came with a single bearing, it was bushed throughout.

Bet they weren't as good as these! Needless to say, these are definately a clearance fit!
