Default Cougar 2 WORKS !! Comes HOME !!

Hi all,

Thought I would share this !!

2 years ago I did a restore on a Cougar 2 WORKS. Shortly after completing it I sold it....

I regretted selling it and wanted it back. So after some hunting down, emails and texts.

GUESS WHAT !! I found it...........

The same guy who I sold it to still had it. So after some texts he kindly sold it back to me. IT RETURNED HOME TODAY in all its glory. Just as I sold it with box, instructions, paperwork and all the bits.

I will try and sort some pictures later of the returned Cougar 2 WORKS.

Cheers Dan.

I never thought I would get it back. I was very lucky to say the least.....

The only thing at the time was I couldn't fined new purple motor plates for it. But I have managed to fined a new set and have them ready to fit.....

Cheers Bretts.

You right matey, I never thought I would see it again, let alone get it back. When the guy said he still had it, I never thought he would sell it back. But he did exactly as I sold it.........

Thank you Adrian for your kind words. Yes there is something about the WORKS car but cant put my finger on it.

I have just restored a Cougar 2 team a few threads down as a runner. I also have a TEAM with alloy rollers and box etc.. for the shelf.

Im doing the WORKS as the last one, purple with orange lines and black/white checks.

The TEAM (RUNNER) will be the same design but red where purple and yellow lines where orange on the WORKS.

Nice car, I remember saving my paper round money as well as birthday and Christmas money to get one of these. I think I left it in a lock up garage when I moved out which is criminal. I have a bad memory and cant find it at my Mum's house so imagine this is the only thing I could have done with it. Shame.

Oh no.

Thats a real shame matey. Thing is when I think back of the buggies and hop-ups I had, if only you could of thought what they would fetch today you may not of even raced them.

Keep thinking matey it may come to you.......
