cooling system high point bleed screw/plug
can this be bought as an item or do I need to buy some sort of kit from Fiat? or is there a fix/bodge for it? any online Fiat parts catalogue's? see pics

I f you can get the broken threaded bit out, it may be possible if theres enoguht thread left to make a new sort of head on it if you no what i mean, or even super glue the broken bit back on, im think though you may have to get a brand new bit.
What year is the fiat?

Theres a punto sitting at the bottom of my road which is quite obviously a complete right off, and was wondering if it was the same year if you would like me too see if i can get that bleed screw thing off it?

you can just drill it out using progressively larger drill bits up to the point where you're almost touching the threads, (its just plastic after all)
then you'll ned to clean the thread out using a tap of the correct size i think thats a 6mm by 1mm pitch thread (looks the same size as the ones i've repaired myself) you can ideally replace with another bleed screw of the same design or just use a bolt of with the same thread with a little bit of silicone sealant around the base of the head to seal it up. just wait til coolant is flowing out of the hole than whack the bolt in when you're filling up ![]()
