This is a mid-1990's Schumacher Cougar 2 'Works'.

The car is a U453 model, so includes the following upgrade parts:
* Works transmission and slipper
* Pro Diff
* Works rear suspension
* Works shocks
* Ballraced
* Works purple chassis and side plates
* Works carbon shock towers

Please note that it does NOT come with alloy roller driveshafts or ballraced steering from the U452 model. Should you want to, these can be easily added at a later date if you can find them.

The car has a common period mod where the rear of the plastic transmission housing has an access hole cut into it between the diff and the motor to allow for checking of the belt tension without stripping down half the transmission. This is covered over with black duct tape to keep dirt out.

The shell isn't going to win any concours competitions, but it is solid without any cracks and complete with the often missing nose cone and a lightly used rear wing. Reproduction shells and wings are readily available from TBG, Kamtec and Penguin.

I have completely stripped, cleaned and refurbished the car using all original parts. It just needs electrics and is ready to go as an excellent and authentic vintage racer.

I'm asking for £175 posted within mainland UK, payment by Paypal with buyer to pay fees.

The car will be carefully packaged in a sturdy cardboard box and posted 2nd class signed for delivery. Alternatively collection is welcome from just off J4 of the M25.
