I am with Madasafish, and they are excellent. When I signed up it was broadband only, now they have a talk package too. I was recommended to them by my daughter as they are very Mac-friendly (stationary IP address, that sort of thing) and she was right.

I had one episode of poor access which they acknowledged as their problem (it was widespread, not just me) and they sent a daily e-mail to let us know what was going on. It took a couple of days to fix (v. slow while the problem lasted) and since then, nothing to report. Been with them three years, and recently got an unsolicited £3 off per month for signing for 12 months. Also got an e-mail this week saying they would deduct the 2.5% VAT and telling me how much I would save.

Very happy. If you decide to go that way they have a referrals offer at the moment worth £10 to you. PM me if you want to take that up. HTH

plusnet were always pretty reliable. Now with AOL, which too have been very good, just don't use their software! Run IE7 or Chrome!

If you've got Sky TV, i'd go with them. I have been for 6 months or so and all has been good. I was with orange previously, and in fairness, didn't have any issues with them either.

I was with Sky for 12 months using the "Sky connect" ADSL service ( we dont have cable here ). Fine for surfing, crap for gaming - always high pings. Thats why i returned to Zen. Got a cheap deal with the HD TV package but as usual you get what you pay for.

Southwell asks valid questions - Sky would be fine for most but not if you want to play online shooters etc in my experience.

I was with them and had no issues. I'd say they are they ones to go for if you have their TV. Their prices have just changed so if you don't take sky talk (which is free) then it costs another £5 a month. why do i know this crap, im not even with them!?

I am with sky and was going to go with them, but wanted to find out what other people thought.
