Default T2c , TC02c, whats the difference?

Hi guys.
Im trying to figure out where the differnet model numbers sit.

I get that a TC02c is centre motor, but whats the difference between T2c & TC02C.
And how does the new TC02c evo sit in relation to the TM2 ? I see they are different, but which is better, or which car would you use for what?

Which models are lighter? (I read the TM2's are heaver), would lighter be better on very small indoor tracks?

And to bring the TR02's into he mix, I guess they are the budget model with plastic shocks and often ready to run. Apart from the plastic shocks & less alu parts are they the same ?

Finally, the TM2 & T2C are about the same price from 1 supplier, so are they about similar performance?
Is the T2c/TM2 worth the 50% more in price over a TC02c ?
Cheers

I'll try to answer what I can with somewhat limited knowledge, although I do own a Team C Jekyll (TR02 chassis) as well as a TC02C chassis.

TM2 is the forward (longitudinal) motor model with carbon chassis / alu bracing etc. Apparently superb on high grip / carpet tracks

TC02C is a more standard mid motor layout (motor in front of rear drive train). The TC02C evo is a slightly longer wheelbase version with a few other fancy bits (big bore shocks vs the small bore on early TC02C etc) . TC02C is a very forgiving chassis and can be set up for more track surfaces. TC02C takes saddles side by side or presumably a shorty pack

TR02 (Jekyll as was) is the rear motor, basic version. Takes a stick pack down the middle. The TC02evo is the higher spec version.

If it were me I would go with TC02C or the TC02C evo as they are better for varying track surface. That said, I have recently switched to Yokomo so am going to be selling my Team C cars, although they served me very well until now

TC (or R) 02 / C / Evo all have a plastic tub chassis, while TM2 uses a sheet of carbon.
All have approx. same front end although the front arms are available in 2 specs which seems to relate to carbon content (i.e. more carbon = more strength, but there is a £2-3 price difference for spares).

Oh, and there is also the Ansmann range to consider - They used to make the Mad Rat (Team C Jekyll) as well as the Mad Monkey (TC02C / Team C Lupuz). Main difference was that Ansmann used green anodised alloy while Team C used silver grey until the TM2 when it all went a bit "tango". All parts are interchangeable

The T2C models were from a few years ago and essentially were the TC02 and TC02C but with big bore shocks / aluminium hop ups / carbon shock towers etc. as far as I can tell. I don't think they were available in Europe (or UK) although I could be wrong?

There you go... Clear as mud!

Yokomo YZ-2

No 4WD because nothing lives up to my original Optima. Until now maybe?...
