Default FRIDAY NIGHT RACNG - PLEASE READ

Following a Committee Meeting please note the following:

1. Race start time
In order to run 3 rounds and a final for 7 heats, racing will now commence at 7.15pm. However this is dependent on help in getting the track ready.

2. Booking In
It is essential that drivers book in on-line prior to Thursday 9pm. We are looking at ways to check that only 45 buggies and 20 GT12s have been booked in. For on-line booking in, if over 45/20 drivers book in, we will have to give priority to members. Anyone turning up on race night without booking in, then those who have booked in (members and non-members) have priority.

3. Foyer at the Sports Hall
The College and the Committee have raised concerns about the use of the foyer/dance room during a race night. The Club only books the sports hall and therefore, except to get to the toilets the foyer/dance room MUST NOT be used during the race night. All attendees must remain in the hall and parents./guardians are responsible for ensuring that children do not play in the foyer.

In addition the tables and chairs in the foyer MUST NOT be used in the sports hall, so drivers must bring their own tables and chairs.

4. Language
There has been an increase in unacceptable language during a race night. Please note that the Committee have the right to ban drivers who use unacceptable language.

5. Batteries
Car batteries can only be used in the Sports Hall if they are in a rigid/hole free container.

NO BATTERIES can be disposed of in the waste bin. Please take batteries home for appropriate disposal.

Thanks for your help in making our Friday night fun for everyone.
