Default Kaput esc + tight motor ... exspensive meeting !!

Had a motor and esc issue today , it all started when i litteraly tapped a car that had just recovered from a spill , after colliding with it my car kept wanting to slow down ( like a high drag brake had been switched on ) it then started smoking .

got back to the pits , checked it over and tried connecting it back up and nothing , but the motor was a bit warm , even tho it had been off for 5mins and i only done one lap . , tried another motor and still nothing but noticed the original motor was tigher than it was before , almost like the magnet has got stronger ,soo ended up buying another esc ( cheers mr magoo )and fitted my 5.5t motor , but ran out of time soo had to run my 2wd in the 4wd heat , have since stripped the motor and can't find anything wrong but its still the same , shame as this motor was/has been wicked for months

FYI the motor was a trinity duo3 6.5t and the esc was a speedpassion gt pro , again been used for months without fault , and was fitted into a durango 410v4 which is wicked by the way!!

Anyone had any simular problems ?, was weird and it only started , after i hit the other car .
