Running 18t in mine (Novak 6.5L) with kit spur. Oil wise, I have 35wt all round as a start point with Associated blue springs front and silver rears but have now got some Tamiya springs to play with so may well change shortly.

Has it got the grey slipper pads? I found after running mine a bit too loose with a 5.5T brushless motor, that they had glazed over so I replaced them with Associated RC10 B4 pads as they are a direct swap and I had loads of them spare.

When I rebuilt my slipper I noticed that if the plate doesn't locate onto the shaft properly it looks OK but wont tighten, if thats the case then just fiddle about with the plate till it sits proplerly.

I'm trying my new 501 with a 6.5 on Sat at York with 15/93 - 18/37 ratio, it might be too undergeared but its worth a try

Ive been recomended 35wt Front with AE Blue springs and 30wt Rear with AE Silver springs for indoor.

If like me you are using the white Tamiya springs then the nearest to the AE are the Blues all round
