Vintage Nikko - Sand Eagle....

This is a bit random, but does anyone else know of or remember a car called a Nikko Sand Eagle? It looked like a Beach buggy sort of thing and was dark blue but had a white roof and Gul-wing Doors that opened electronically by a switch on the transmitter.

I had one when i was 3 (Got it for my birthday) but i kept it for years after that in my wardrobe after taking it to bits and then fixing it again, it also had Lights that you could turn off or on on the Transmitter too!

Just thought it's strange i've never seen any others, or heard about them since and they were pretty cool looking back at the time they were about (1985 or so)!

Just thought i'd see if anyone else knows of them?

sounds familiar. i cant remember if it was the same model but i had a nikko beach buggy looking thing.. was bright orange & yellow iirc. gona try find a pic now
