Default LRP Spin Pro Brushless ESC

I've been running an old LRP Sphere (TC Spec) in all of my buggies since I started back racing buggies a few years ago.. I am booked in for two classes at the Vintage Revival meeting up at the A1 Racing Centre in July & would ideally need another speedo to power the 2nd car, which will be a Losi XX running the 6.5BL mod motor that I have successfully ran in that car previously.

I am very happy with the LRP Sphere speedos as I am not bothered about having any timing advance functions when running the mod motors... I could get another 2nd Sphere, but I notice that LRP now have the 'Spin Pro' ESC which goes down to a 5.5 motor limit with a 2S LiPo... it is a budget/entry level speedo but I wondered if it would be suitable for my needs? Does anyone have any experience with these ESCs - good or bad?
