Default Advice please

Hi all.

I havent raced for a number of years now but ive dug my racing stuff from out the garage and was hoping to get back into it again but had a few questions I hope someone can help me with.

My 4wd stuff is a B44 with vampire 4400 lipos, 2.4ghz KO radio equipment and a Novak gtb brushless system with 5.5 motor. Will this still be competitive if I wanted to compete at regional level?also are spares still readily available for it?ive got quite a few but imagine I'm going to go through quite a few wishbones etc as it's been a while!

My 2wd is an x6 in pretty bad condition and the only spares ive got are the associated front end. What 2wd would you recommend to replace it? It also needs a speedo (ive got a Novak 6.5 brushless motor which I think is ok) and I've no idea what the best ones are to get.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I'm pretty new back to rc too, but b44 with 5.5 turn motor would still be quick. Many people are now using b44.1 or 44.2 but from what I've seen, they are not dramatically quicker.
Can't comment on 2wd as I know less, but I'm sure others will reply

No 4WD because nothing lives up to my original Optima. Until now maybe?...
