Default Trakpower Question

I recently purchased a second Trakpower 3200 20C stick pack for my TC

It might be me, but it feels less punchy than the first pack i purchased of the same model. It was clearly "old" stock as the box was a bit beaten up when it arrived although the cell inside clearly hadnt been used. Do they need "running in" ?

Has anyone noticed differences between packs of the same model, or is it just me going mad in my old age ?

Also, would i notice a huge amount of punch difference if i decided to invest in one of the new Trakpower 30C 3200 Lipo sticks ?

Cheers

Lipos shouldn't need running in.

I have used several different 3200 saddles and couldn't tell the differance.

Yes, you will notice more power if you get 3200 30C stick pack.

You may also notice that you will have less duration as it will push more of its power out, faster. If you are finding that you don't have a lot left in your Lipo after a race I would recomend you get a 3600 30c stick pack.

Thanks for the info guys ................

Just to update, one of the cells within the pack is knackered. It charged fine but produced zero punch under load. Used another Trakpower of the same model/type and the difference was instant.

When i charged it using the Trakpower charger and balancer, it was noted that the 2 light on the balancer was constantly flashing. This would indicate that the balancer was trying in vein to increase the voltage on cell 2 when charging.

My second pack charges with very minimal balancing.

Just thought i would do an update to inform everyone what to look out for - it would seem that i have been very unlucky.

Its getting returned under warranty

I have the 3600 stick pack in my tourer. You won't regret having one, it uses aroun 15/1800mah a run with my 19t and bags of punch
