Default body moulding design

hi every one, exactly what the tittle says

Anyone have any good idea's or contacts, looking for some body shell designs from the 80's or even earlier

You go to a race meeting these days, and its the run of the mill modern cars .

To give you an idea, MK1 escorts, 6r4 metro, opel manta's, hillman imps, lancia stratos etc etc,the good old fashioned rally cars , obvioulsy hoping some of you remeber these

What do you all think

I presume you are looking at touring car size shells. RCMart has by far the widest range of bodies available, take a look at the ABC Hobby bodies. http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/body-d...c-438_875.html
The ABC Hobby Skyline is amazing

Although they do have a much wider range in Mini size

Carson used to do a whole range of Audi Quattro, Opel Manta, Lancia Stratos rally cars and Ford Zakspeed Capri, BMW Group 5, etc bodies. Been out of production about 3 years now though.

For those who remember the old Frewer bodies for buggies (RS200, Metro 6R4, Sierra Cosworth) they are being made again by Historic R/C. Not cheap and they won't fit on modern buggy chassis and are way too wide for a tourer.

Ops my error in my old age

Body scale is 5th scale,i've checked out rc & historic, some nice shells, i spose i could get some modeling clay and make a body, but then ineed a company with a big enough machine to do vacum forming .

Dont mind working with a company to get a shell made,or may be 1 day the manufacturer will come up with some more shell designs , i live in hope.

We email manufacturers on their contact pages,it would be nice for a simple reply acknowledgement.

Oh well, looks like it might have to be germany then.

Yes, with 1/5th scale you are mainly stuck with what the car manufacturers put out. You might want to try contacting [email protected] Their website at www.fmb.at is down at the moment, but I've uploaded their product list here
http://www.thetechshed.co.uk/Karo-PRL.pdf
In 1/5 scale they list Alfa 155, BMMW M3 GTR, Merceds C200 and Opel Calibra.
