Default It's great to get out and race!

Just had my first race back after leaving the hobby in '96. This time I had my son with me and it was his first ever race.

I have to say things have changed quite a bit (for the better) and I think my local club has some fantastic chaps there. Overall despite the spectacular crashes, frequent tail happy spin outs (wet greasy astro with the wrong tyres on) I think I can say the fire is igniting again.

I'm so glad that 1/10 off road is still going strong and I'll get the chance to get the next generation in as well.

Look forward to racing you guys soon wherever you may be

Yep, racing is still a great hobby, and the good thing is that motors and batteries are now zero hassle and the cars (in general) are a lot stronger than they were in '96. Good to hear you enjoyed your comeback!
