Default Summer shakedowns

Dunno about the rest of you chaps but I've been enjoying this weather!
The ZX-R had a good thrashing in the park last night.
Just wish we had good weather all year so we could race on dirt.
Btw, my local track Westmill, Herts has a full grid of RC10's now. We're already scheduled for the last two summer rounds and then the full winter series

The lipo's are held in by my bespoke lipo trays available from Fibrelyte.

Wow, she looks absolutely mint, and all that CF looks great. The lipo holders are simple but look great and no Velcro needed I'm guessing?

Cheers pal!
That's only cos she is. New build last year and only used once. The lipo holder I designed is basically a 'T' shaped piece of CF which is screwed through the battery posts. (Acts as the plastic spacer too) and then used the top plate with a ally post to hold them in.

Once Henrik get LAW-12 for me!!, you can all see my collection on our 'no braggin rights' thread.

Nice, clever idea and will try. If you need more weight then my one will be better suited. Still i never thought of that and may use with my tub when its made. Thumbs up for a great design.

Do you want me to pull the LiPo's out now and take some better pics for you?

Seeing all these Lazers ZX-R's, ZX's and ZX-S's are beginning to give some sort of envy/got to get one kind of rash!!!!

Nick, that buggy is so shinny, minty and modern looking is hard to think of it as a vintage!!!! LOL
BTW; We are still waiting for you on the "Braggers Club".

I'll re-think the idea of running a vintage buggy, probbably going to get me a beatup Optima or Javelin....hmmmm

Yeah, I couldn't bring myself to run a mint original Lazer, so I built 2
I have a mkI hanging on the wall which leaves my free of any mental breakdowns.
As you can see, short of the screws and plastics, it's all new. Fibre-lyte all-round with updated 4.8mm ball ends, Pureten diffs, clamped LAW-30 wheel hexes and B4.1FT shocks.
Runs well.

Crash, is it possible to order the holders from Fibrelyte? I couldn't see them on the website, but may be being a dunce!

Being bespoke though, I'm guessing there will be a royalty to pay

Royalty, lol
Yes mate. Just phone Steve at FL and ask for Nicholas Mather's ZX-R Lipo holders (Base T-plate + 2x Top plates)
You'll then need two 1cm bits of 6mm ally rod with an m3 thread up the middle.

Interesting, but you havent factored in using these zimmer brass cell hole bits. Still i think i can use your design but with some tinkering for the tub.

Hey Henrik.

I'm afraid I don't know the arm lengths any more as this setup has changed. I'm now running with the wider ZX-R mkII/RR (LA-59) front yokes. Also got rid of the red steering and switched to the blue pureten unicrank.

Sorry bud.
