Default B44.2 wheel fitment.

I may be treating myself to a B44.2 soon. Now I know it comes as standard with the 12mm hex drives on the wheels, but can you change it to still run as 10mm hex front and pin rear, or will I have to stock up on new rims?

Hi,

The B44.2 is 10mm hex on the front, same as all the previous versions of the B44.

You can run pin on the rear of the B44.2, rear is the same as the B44.1

You will just need to add the cone washer between the pin and the bearing, same as the B44 / B44.1 kit setup.

MiCk B. :-)

Thanks Mick - I didn't realise it came with the smaller hex at the front - thought it was 12mm all round.

Well that's a bonus as it saves me having to buy all new rims, including my stock of Losi white 5 spokes I run on the B44 - I'm just a bit retro.
