I have an almost new Ansmann x4te (Team C T4) ready to race but am unlikely to get any use from it. I've been looking at both T4 & TM2 manuals to see which, mainly rear end parts of the T4 fit the TM2 but none of the part No's seem the same. Even parts such as the rear upper suspension mounts which I thought are the same have different part No's.
My question is, are there enough shared parts to warrant me breaking the x4te/T4 for spares for a TM2 ? I guess if the value of the useable spare parts is more than the current value of my 4wd rolling chassis I may as well just break it... Also, would the x4te ball diff(s), rear/centre CVD's/slipper assembly & carbon rear shock tower also fit the TM2 ? Breaking it would also provide me with a spare set of new big bore shocks, spare sealed bearings etc etc too... Dan.

I have done the same as you. The things of most value have been the driveshafts and cf rear shock tower.

I'm sure that the ball diffs will fit, and you will be able to use all the rear end of the x4te on the TM2 but only the diffs will be useable on the TM4. The centre shafts will certainly be no use on the TM2 as one is too short and the other too long. Its worth more broken down as spares for TM2 use i'd say ;0)

Seemed a shame as it drives really well but I just can't see when it'll get used anytime soon. Cheers Alec.
