Default Etronix pulse Fhss reciever

Can anyone help?. My sons reciever won't bind to his transmitter, when I try binding it the green light comes on for about 15 seconds then go's out. Is it the reciever that's gone or would a power cap sort it?.

Confused

Which Etronix is it? the one with or without the LCD display? I've recently bound two receivers to the LCD one and its very tricky to get them to bind, I just kept on trying and trying until it worked! Once its done, it'll never forget. You're meant to hold the bind button on the receiver when its powered on.

Also if its the LCD one, you can do a reset in the menu as it maybe bound to another receiver already.

I've had this a couple of times - make sure to hold the rx and tx antennas together and keep the button pressed after it has gone green. The when you have released the button keep working the throttle and steering as you move the transmitter away. Its been ok ever since (touch wood!)

It's the cheaper one(none LCD). The thing is,when I put in the bind connecter the green light comes on before I get near the bind button!.
The thing has been working fine for ages then decided it wasn't playing yesterday at racing.
When I press the button nothing happens,no lights at all.
