Default B44 rear hub choice?

Hi more setup questions! I'm about to order some spares and I know it is said that changing the rear hub angle can improve the feel of the car, the question is which tow angle? as there seems to be a wide choice. I will mainly be racing indoor on a polished wood surface.

I went with the 1 degree hubs as I race on polished wood. Better feel and more drive out of the corners.

Which ones are more suited for me as that doesn't seem much of an increment over the standard 0degree?? They seem to range up to 4 degrees or so. Not really sure what t expect from them

Standard Alu 0 deg hubs for polished floor IMO if your struggling with rear traction you have a balance issue between front and rear. What tends to happen when running more rear toe the car can be unpredictable though fast chicanes. Before wasting £25 take a look at your setup shocks springs roll centres.

Currently running green rear springs and silver fronts. Oil 30f 25r. Silver rear anti roll bar. Back end can be twitchy on acceleration

Loose the rollbar then, it takes away grip from the rear

Sorry to disagree with stu, as I know he is bang on with his set up knowledge.
I use a one degree hub on my car(creating 4deg toe in overall).
I use black rear springs with 25wt 4x54 pistons silver roll bar
Front blue springs 32.5wt 4x55 pistons. The car is really well balanced but allows me to be a little less careful with the throttle. It allows me to maintain rear grip but use that silver roll bar for support on corner exit. However I don't like cars that pivot too much. I like a car where the rear end is welded to the track. When I need more pivot however I do go to .5 deg hubs.
If you can find them I recommend the racers edge hubs. Much better bearing fit than ae. Also they have a grub screw to stop slop on hinge pin.
Oh and on eBay from the states my last set cost £15 delivered.
If anyone wants my full setup just pm me. It's very easy to drive!
However. I've just noticed you are using the small bore shocks so my spring and damping are useless to you. But for the sake of £16 I'd give a set of hubs a try. Either half or 1deg. I think you will find a positive effect as long as you stick with the stiff roll bar.

That's cool stevepro

Each to there own on setup however first things that need to be established

What tyre
What the car is doing and when
For example
Entry corner
Mid corner
exit corner
Change of direction

Is your car too soft I believe so looking at oils springs etc

Are you top links too long making the car react slow and lazy causing the car to struggle with change of direction.

I think all these need sorting before slinging extra toe on covering up a potentially bad setup.

Post your full setup.

Stu

Thanks for the advice so far I will put a full setup sheet together, the top links are set right over to the inside setting and I'm on yellow schuy full spikes. Overall light at the back in most situations, not terrible but enough to say there's improvement to be made so I can push on more
