Hi, on my 2.1., the settings "boost start rpm" and "boost timing acc" are visible (in a lighter color) but blocked. The boost timing is available.
The firmware I'm using is: esc: v3.0 110930 MOD program box: v1.08 120504 What can I do to make these settings available? I would like the car to be calmer in the infield and I think this could help me a lot. Thanks ![]() |

I'd hazard a guess that it's because you're trying to put V3 settings on a V2.1 box?
Also it might be worth trying the STK firmware rather than MOD? |

Mod software is restricted to stop you blowing everything up.
If you want the extra settings you need to install 930Stock. ![]() |

Thanks Pip I have them now. Any good starting setups would be welcome. I'm running a 7.5 in 2wd off road.

Ok, just a little report after testing with the stock software (might be of use to somebody, you never know).
I ended up with the following settings (7.5 turn hpi motor, timing on the can set at minimum): boost timing 26° boost start rpm 9000 boost acc 750 turbo boost timing 0° The car was much easier to drive consistently. It's a lot calmer on the throttle and very fast on the straight. I made much less mistakes than before and it was easier to push the car hard. The car was bloody good today. Temps after a 10 minute run were 45°c (esc) and 65°c (motor). |
