Default HW v2.1 boost settings (not available)

Hi, on my 2.1., the settings "boost start rpm" and "boost timing acc" are visible (in a lighter color) but blocked. The boost timing is available.

The firmware I'm using is:

esc: v3.0 110930 MOD
program box: v1.08 120504

What can I do to make these settings available? I would like the car to be calmer in the infield and I think this could help me a lot.

Thanks

I'd hazard a guess that it's because you're trying to put V3 settings on a V2.1 box?

Also it might be worth trying the STK firmware rather than MOD?

Mod software is restricted to stop you blowing everything up.
If you want the extra settings you need to install 930Stock.

Thanks Pip I have them now. Any good starting setups would be welcome. I'm running a 7.5 in 2wd off road.

Ok, just a little report after testing with the stock software (might be of use to somebody, you never know).

I ended up with the following settings (7.5 turn hpi motor, timing on the can set at minimum):

boost timing 26°
boost start rpm 9000
boost acc 750
turbo boost timing 0°

The car was much easier to drive consistently. It's a lot calmer on the throttle and very fast on the straight. I made much less mistakes than before and it was easier to push the car hard. The car was bloody good today.

Temps after a 10 minute run were 45°c (esc) and 65°c (motor).
