Over the past week I started getting my CAT XLS runner ready.

Great looking car - the the early LWB CATS are one of my favourite looking buggies.

P.S; any chance of a body-off shot Love the look of the original Parma Cyclone motors... those alongside the Reedy 'dot' motors where the popular choice of the more serious racers when I started racing... & therefore the ones that I so dearly wished I could afford!

Cheers guys

Dan, I'll get a body off shot sorted as soon as I get home mate.

The LWB Cat is my favourite too - I pretty much have all my favourite cars from my racing youth now, those I had and those I lusted after.

Had when I was a kid and now have again

Turbo Optima Mid
RC10 Team Car (Now have a new genuine Worlds Car)
Lazer ZX-R

Lusted after and now have

CAT XLS
Top Force Evo
Egress
Avante
Supershot
Javelin (Thanks Optiman!)
Optima
Optima Pro
Turbo Optima
Optima Mid
Turbo Optima Mid SE
Turbo Optima Mid Special
Optima Mid Custom
Lazer ZX
Yokomo 870C

Most of them have a racing pedigree - I do have some other buggies such as the Grasshopper and Hornet, again for nostalgic reasons more than anything else....drooling at the videos in Beatties window in Newcastle's Eldon Square....come to mention it, I used to also drool over the Bigwig but have resisted temptation thus far....

Dan
