Default Speed Passion Motor beep/twitch forward

Hi All,

I have now installed a new speed passion motor 7.5T into my 2wd buggy (I am running a SP GT2 Pro ESC as well).

All works fine but the motor itself is emitting a beeping sound. It is not on a regular cycle/repeat. The car also twitches ever so slightly forward occasionally when in neutral.

I did not have this issue with the previous motor (a SP 13.5T). I have re calibrated the throttle settings but wondered if anyone else had experienced this and if its a setting on the ESC? I have taken off the timing programme and all other settings are pretty standard. I tend to think its a throttle issue but the only thing I have changed is the motor?

Like I say it runs but am sure beeping and slight twitching is not normal

If not in setup mode, sounds like your radio is not really at neutral or there is some interference.

Thanks Guys, all sorted hopefully. When I first had the car the set up/car went back instead of forwards when I pressed the stick controller forward. I therefore changed the transmitter setting to Rev to overcome.

I have since got a new ESC and motor. I set the throttle parameters but was getting twitching when in neutral. After a few investigative trials I changed the transmitter back to normal and reset all to factory settings and made sure that the Tx was now not as rev to trial. I then calibrated the throttle again and all appears to be fine now. Bit strange but think it's sorted.
