Default Kipor Genny

Hi guys

I know alot of people who come racing have the kipor / honda range on generators. I have bought the 2kw one over the past few days and it arrived this morning wow its huge and it weights loads. But while reading the instructions it said i should ground the genny using a earthing spike or similar so im just wondering do people both with this?

the ??? were for the last question, the last bit made no sense.

The earth spike is there for a reason, to earth any electrical shorts to ground... does it come with one, should be a steel stake/long peg with an earth cable off it....

well, thats clever, sell a gennie, say you should be using an earth spike... and not provide it, lol. I think it is fine, as long as everything you plug into it is safe.
