On my losi 22 it is quite diffcult,
I need to take out 6 screw out to get the gearbox out, and trying to hold the suspesion arm whilst removing gearbox otherwise they will fell apart and picking the bits off the floor. Plus more screws to take the gearbox apart. thats if the screws arent rounded up. Which car is easiest to work on and accessible parts... ? |

Haven't seen any 2wd that is particularly easy to work on, usually cos the gearbox and rear suspension share casings/mounting points.
Though if you were a little less hamfisted, you wouldn't have rounded bolts to deal with...... would make life easier! ![]() |

On the Centro C4.2 you can remove the gearbox (6 screws) and leave the rear suspension intact as well as shock tower and shocks

Worst car ive had to work on was the DEX210 - far too many screws to takes out the gearbox in rear and mid wasnt much better
Best car was my Team c TC02C closely followed by Centro and Yokomo BMAX 2 Losi have addressed the problem with the 22 2.0 as there is now a screw to hold the suspension in place when taking out the gearbox ![]()

Any Vega, 5 screws and the gearbox is out,but with the new gearbox you can leave the slipper set as you dont need to remove for diff access.

I'll 2nd that, Vega is awesome & the easiest car I've ever worked on!
Everything just clicks together & the quality is like nothing else out there. |
