Default cougar sv newbie :)

hi im new to the forum and have just got myself a nice cougar sv

Ive had a quick bash with it and its really nice off-road and and handles the bumps well.

here's some pics...

it came installed with-

Futaba 2pl receiver set
Novak Cyclone TC2 ESC
Trinity Flatliner D5 motor

my plans are 2.4ghz radio kit and brushless system

i've been reading lots online and i've now moved the rear shocks to the front of the shock tower and it seems a lot better (not as bouncy)

so i have a few questions

i see people referring to 'reversing the front wishbones' what do u mean by this? just simply flipping them over or swapping left for right?

What turn brushless system would be a good starting point?

Also are they're any other tips or quick modification that anyone can give me???

cheers ( loving the forum already )

Flip the wishbones left to right and a 10 and half or 9 and half brushless motor would be a good starting point

when you flip them, the lower shock screw should be forward facing.

Arrow

It makes the wheelbase slightly longer.

feels more stable when turning in to corners and not as skitty

is there anything else i can do to improve things?

ive got a brushless 9t system and a 5400mah 60c-135c saddle pack on the way so what gearing would people recommend?

I don't use it in big areas so really want the most acceleration as possible rather than top end.

Cheers
