Default Blue alloy parts on the S2?

From looking around at alot of the pictures on here of the S2 it seems alot of you guys are running blue alloy parts around the front bulkhead region.

Can anyone post any links to these please and why you have changed from the standard B4 parts?

Thanks

Cheers for that

Is it a case of you really need this? Or does it just look pretty?

Thanks again

Just looks pretty. And it's blue, so it's got to be better.

Unfortunately, at least on the ones I've seen, the machining isn't very precise, and full steering lock is impossible to achieve.

I have the Blue Alloy/Carbon Fibre Front Bulkhead on my S2 & I have 100% Steering lock on mine.............its the optional Blue Alloy Steering Assembly that you can buy, that seems to be manufactured incorrectly, causing Steering lock issues.

I have cracked the 2mm thick Carbon Fibre section of the Blue Alloy Front Bulkhead though..........I ended up having some 3mm thick Carbon Fibre replacements made at Fibre-Lyte, which are far stronger & look alot better, as I had them shaped differently

Right,

Blue front bulkhead + stock bellcrank = fine

blue front bulkhead + blue bellcrank and steering rack = binding
