Default Extended posts for battery tray on zx-5

I ordered a maxamp 6000mah 2s for my zx-5. It fits the tray perfectly, but is a little tall for the posts. Do they make extended posts?

Maybe I can put spacers underneath the current post, and use longer screws?

Thanks.

not that i know of. spacers will be your best bet. Will it still fit under the shell though?

Alternatively you could Dremel flat the cell dividers to make the Li-Po sit a little lower. I did this with my Core 5000 and it fits very snugly now. I know the idea of Dremelling the chassis might seem like a last resort but those little cell retainers have no effect on the strength of the chassis at all. Hope this helps.

Hi,

You need some 3Racing alloy battery posts. They come with a silver alloy spacer specially for Lipos. See here
