Default Lipos in XX4

Has anyone fitted lipos in there xx4?
Thinking about buying a second hand one

andy bate has fitted lipos to his xx4 only the 3200 ones.the only mod is to cut/dremal a bit of the battery clamp away.easy.

You can also use the non saddle lipo battery, with very very little modifications .



Also the balance of the car is quite good .

Broken!
I have broken me servo horn, and the screw holding in the front shock. Just thinking about getting the miss one because it is such a good car the xx4.

Here are pics of an Orion 3800 lipo fitted into a XX-4 chassis. Notice the small relief in the chassis and top cover right behind the motor area to get the battery to sit square.

What to you mean for the other half? The lipos are light and most people are putting weight on the right side of the chassis to counterbalance depending on how heavy your other electronics are. Also a little weight in the back to adjust the F/R bias, and to get back up to legal weight.
