Default Steerwheel radio suggestions?

I purchased an Ansmann W6 radio but discovered the exponential function doesn't work (it's going to have to be sent back). Looking at this thread it appears this is a common problem with this model:

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66154

It was meant to replace an 18-month old Ansmann W3.1 which I was perfectly happy with despite it being a basic 2.4Ghz system, although the receivers are expensive at £45 each and one of the 3 I have has started to misbehave every now and then.

Can anyone reccommend a good 3-channel steerwheel radio with 10-15 model memory, D/R, EPA and EXP, for which extra receivers are reasonably priced? I'm not tightfisted but at the same time i'm not looking to spend a million pounds on a high-end Futaba or KO, as an average club driver I just don't think I can justify or get the best out of it.

Also i've heard a lot about Spektrum systems browning out and I use Savox 1256/1258 servos in all my cars, so would this be a problem?

I really like the look of this for the money, would be interesting to hear from anyone running one:

It's been my experience when buying radio gear that you get what you pay for. I'm only your average club racer too but have benefited from having a decent radio. I currently use the Sanwa M11x but there is a cheaper option in the form of the Sanwa MT4, worth a look mate, it would definitely be in your best interest to buy the best you can afford. I've had the Etronix set your looking at and found the quality to be below average but as said, you get what you pay for.

I've a sanwa m11 converted to 2.4g. With proper sanwa conversion
It has 2 receivers but they are both tatty. If you have ansmann 3.1 receivers they are compatable. Complete with a nice padded bag for tranny
£70 Any good to ya?

If you swap to the MT4 which I think is an awesome radio you can your 3.1 receivers as they are the same.
