Words can't describe how amazing today was running vintage at this amazing track which was the venue for the world's in 1989.

I'd never driven on dirt or really outside of the uk for that fact but all I can say is wow!

Thanks to oOple I've also spent a lot of time with the legend that is Jason aka J.M. and Bormac, he's been so so helpful and an awesome host. ... his cars look even better in the flesh believe me!

He took so many pics today and also video but here's a taster. .... more to come when I return to Muscat and have time to upload them all.

The Turbo Optima Mid Special and Blue RC10 are mine and the yellow/white Mid Custom Special and Optima are Jasons....I was drooling at most of his runners...... I'm sure you all would too His Cat XLS is stunning.

It is really great that you all did have a good time!!
That track(video) looks very hard, was the Optima being driven with those tires?
You all have inspired me to actually race a vintage, so I will get beater Optima since guess what?, it's my favourite vintage, and race it.
Keep the pictures comming!!!!

PS: It would be great if the good people of the oOple vintage community could get together for something like this... Who knows maybe if well planned and with plenty of time to prepare and get the money for the trip(mine is an expensive one, I'm from the Caribbean) it could be possible. Maybe start a thread with someone being the organizer and planner, just day dreaming...

awesome video ! nice to finally see an Optima Mid jumping. Really nice track that isn't too hard on cars. My local track is murder on my Mid !
