"For the 2008/9 BRCA 12th Scale National Series ONLY, we will allow competitors to use batteries from the 2007 EB Rechargeable Batteries Homologation List.

Every National has a good number of local drivers who enter their home event, but may be prevented from doing so this season because they are still using cells from the 2007 list at their Club. We want everyone to enter if they wish to, so, for this season only, we will allow batteries from the 2007 list.

12th has always considered costs, and the 12th Section Committee hope that this news will keep costs down for the drivers who like to enter the odd National, and don't want to buy new cells for one or two events. We don't think this will give an advantage to anyone, as most drivers will have new cells for the new season from the 2008 list.
