Default Dex with a B4 front.

Not sure if you guys check out the rc tech thread's.
It's easier to just shoot the link than re-post.

This swap took about 20 min to do.
I just had to ream out the a-arm hole to 3mm.
I have not measured width yet..but my eye-o-meter says it's the same.

No idea if it's going to work...just wanted to try it out for the hell of it.
You can buy AE parts everywhere over here (my hobby shop is stocked) so if it works it might be advantageous.

Are the dropped arms preferred for low ride height..or is it better to have a straight arm?

The full monty.
-4mm tower in the rear...Rear droop is less than 1mm shy of what I was running with the dex parts.Chassis bottoms out about 1.5mm before the rear shocks (bumpstops installed though) ..about 2 in the front.
I am sitting at 20mm right now...No way to go any lower..as we have a few jumps that need ride height to get the rear from kicking up over the front.

Testing Thursday.

This all came about because I have my b4.2 apart waiting for a x-factory cube kit..and more importantly I am waiting for a durango front shock shaft I had to mail order.Local/semi local shops don't stock anything Durango.
It will take less than 20min to put it all back to stock...so should be fun to see if
it's any better.

Durability...the dex stuff is great...no doubt (although the only b4 part I have broken was a rear tower) and the dex seems less sloppy.
Ae has it all over Durango when it comes to availability.Plus local racers have spares galore.

Shocks...in my opinion.. the ae big bores are tops next to the supreme Kyosho units.Plus mine have the factory-1 upgrades.

is that after watching my b4.1 spreading itself all over the track in thousands of very smashed up pieces?

And I wouldn't want to be using any AE plastics either!
