Default Vega Gen 3 Feedback

Interested in hearing from those who have a Vega Gen 3 who've had a Gen 2.

Love my RB5 Gen 2 and thinking of getting the Gen 3 RB6 but unsure if its worth the upgrade.

What's the verdict Vega-ites!

Neil

I've not got a Gen III - yet - but I do know there is a new gearbox due by the end of the week so no more stripping down your slipper clutch to rebuild a diff and it will take a gear diff now for those that so wish.

Hi Paulj, is this gearbox for just the rb6 Gen3 or for all Gen 3s losi, tamiya etc... if so will it be an extra or included in the kit.

Cheers.

Yes, just spoke with Duncan Hedger and his has been delayed and the new gear box coming. I'll wait to see it first then might order.

No idea about a new gearbox, but I do have an rb6 gen3 and am very pleased with it. Just like your rb5 vega but with more steering, spot on.

Default RB6 Vega

Ran my RB6 Vega yesterday for the 1st time, the track was medium to high grip carpet & after a few set up changes the car was awesome!
Really pleased with it!
Thanks again to Lewis at Team Xtreme for his help & great service.

Good to hear, just waiting for mine to turn up. What was your setup?

Default RB6 Vega

The set up I finished up with is very similar to the the one Andiowebb has put up on here, only differences being I'm running big bore shocks & springs, Losi blue 40w in the front & Losi pink with 30w in the rear. & I removed most of the weight just leaving the the peice in under the servo.
The car just kept getting better all day. Looking forward to running it again now perhaps try other little changers, see if I can get it even better.
Hope this helps

Pete
