Default core lipo stick pack & the bc6

my core stick pack arrived today (it's going in my soon to arrive m03r mini chassis & super astute) and it's pretty neat.

it comes with a built in balance plug / lead - but the plug won't fit into the balancing ports on my bc6

has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you get around it?

i could bodge something if I knew what wire did what - but LIPO and bodging don't really mix

You are going to need one of the adapters that plug into your charger or you will have to make your own. It's not rocket science so don't worry.
The plug on your core lipo is a JST XE and the plug on the charger seems to be one of bantams own. Either take the battery and the charger to your model shop and see if any of the adapter plugs fit or find yourself a connector and build a harness yourself. You can figure it out fairly easily if you have a voltmeter handy. The picture below shows you how the charger plug is configured.
